With Dave out now (sorry to hear), is anyone else still planning to come?

There will be the obligatory caching of course but I'd really like to check out Mars Hill Church, they have services at 9 and 11:15 on July 4. Some campuses (mega church!) have a 5 P.M. or even a 7:15 P.M. service as well.

I'll be to the A.P.E. cache on Thursday July 1 on my way in to Carnation. Friday might be original stash. Then after church on Sunday, there's the Groundspeak picnic near HQ (11-3). That'll mean a new icon, probably the 10HQ that's been on the banner photo lately.

Anyway, let me know and we can try to coordinate.

thanks,

Yeah, Mars Hill was going to be on my itinerary while out there. :( I subscribe to their podcast and think that Mark Driscoll is a great preacher, even if I don't think I'm 100% in synch with him.

I'm obviously going to have to get out eventually to do the caching triumvirate, so should still make it sometime.

I missed out on going to Mars Hill, the area is huge and I just couldn't make my schedule work for it that day. Although I am reading one of his books right now. He's very frank when speaking to men.

As for GW VIII, I saw a NoVAGO banner but didn't meet up with anyone from Virginia though. It was my first mega event and I had a great time, got to meet Jeremy (although I was more interersted in meeting Moun10Bike, sorry Jeremy) and bunches of other Lackeys. Our contingent got to be pretty well known as we had pathtags, a banner, magnets and stickers we left in and on caches. The girls got pretty tired of all the caching but I did take them shopping a couple of times and then two days at a theme park.

I missed out on completing the GeoTriad (original stash) as I couldn't find anyone to go with me when I was available. Did get the APE cache and lilypad of course.

Lots more happened but I'll have to share later.

Yeah, you could say that.
