I'm not currently active in any church, however when I go it tends to be one of three.

The first one is the one I grew up in and my parents still attend. It's the Halifax Metro Vineyard. http://www.halifaxvineyard.com/

Second one is my sisters church, and now also my roommate's church which is called StoneRidge Fellowship (formerly called Temple Baptist). http://www.stoneridgefellowship.com/

And third is the one I took an Alpha Course at and have been most recently active in. It's Birch Cove Baptist Church. http://www.birchcovechurch.com/

We attend the Calvary Chapel of Melbourne whenever possible.

The CCM started about 12 years ago with 10 people in a motel meeting room. It is and has always been a spirit filled assembly. There are now over 12,000 attendees every weekend and there are separate campuses in nearby Viera and Sebastian.

The pastor(s) openly admit that they are only human and are sinners just like the rest of us. They honestly feel a responsibility to teach the Word to us and watch over their flock. Most everyone brings their bible to the sermons and those without are given one by the ushers. Offerings from the heart are accepted but never ever requested. By the grace of God and the Holy Spirit, CCM has grown and is now the largest auditorium in Brevard County, Florida. The Church parking lot is filled with cars every hour of every day of the week.....not just on Sunday mornings.

There are dozens of ministeries, missions, bible studies, home groups, community programs as well as a full time Christian school and bible college.

If you are unable to attend a service in your area for whatever the reason, please consider the online LIVE broadcasts provided every Wednesday evening, Saturday evening and Sunday morning....OR....visit the past service Archives which are available to everyone at any time.

I am at Fox Valley Baptist Church in East Dundee, IL. Check out Pastor Phil's Blog - he also spends time as Chaplain for the Carpentersville Police Department. He has a different view of things.

We attend Orlando Grace Church which is Reformed Baptist. Our church's website is http://www.orlandograce.org. There you can read all about us and even listen to the sermons going back several years. Our pastor is a cancer survivor of over 2 years now.

I'm sorry, I have to take exception to the comment about us being sinners. We were saved by God's grace and we are saints. Paul talks about it a lot in his letters, about how our old nature is dead. Sure, we will still sin but our old nature is gone, it no longer feels natural for us to sin.

I've spent the better part of the last year in a men's bible study focusing on grace and what it means in our lives. I write this because I only want to encourage everyone to rest in His grace. This is well illustrated in a book by Dan Stone call "The Rest of the Gospel"

Please accept my apologies!

I'm sorry if I mislead anyone. I agree that "we were all once dead in our transgressions and sins when we followed the ways of this world and followed the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient".

"For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not of works lest any man should boast"

You are correct....."our old nature is dead and it no longer feels natural to sin".

However, as you have pointed out we still do sin and that is what is what I meant by the statement, "The pastor(s) openly admit that they are only human and are sinners just like the rest of us"

Thank you for pointing this out to me and the fourm. Correction and instruction by fellow men of God is something that is often difficult for many of us, myself included. It is most certainly scriptural and important in these times.

I really didn't mean it as a scolding, it's just that if we think about ourselves as sinners, then I think we are defeating ourselves. Think of it as a label, I wouldn't go around introducing myself as a sinner. Because that's not who I really am, thanks to Christ for his gift, I am a saint.

Sorry, I am just really passionate about this. It has meant so much to me knowing that I don't deserve it but it was given freely to all of us.

I haven't been this fired up over anything in a while, please don't take offense to it. It's hard sometimes (most times) to really express things via email/forums and have the proper tone conveyed.
